Brief History of Bioenergetic Analysis

This paper traces the history of Bioenergetic Analysis from origins in Freud’s psychoanalytic method, through development theory and technique working directly with body as introduced by Wilhelm Reich, then covers contributions Alexander Lowen, who created Analysis. The differences between Reich Lowen will be presented, well other body-oriented methods, why others, while valuable, are not comprehensive.
